Direct Auto Protection Plan Sold me a bogges extended insurance plan Boynton Beach Florida
I was contacted by Direct Auto Protection Plan company located in Fla. I was told that they were the same company that had me extended warrenty from Ford Motor Company. After getting the extended warrenty and paying a payment of $199.00 followed by payments of $157.50 to my credit card per month.
After following up with the company I found out that they were not REAL.....with a bogges address. After that I contacted the Ford Motor Company Warrenty department I found out that they were not with any Ford Warrenty Company.
After contacting Palmer who was colecting my mony from my credit card I was advised that I had to contact Direct Auto Protection Plan to concel my account. Was transferred to Palmer and got a " high volume calls" and that I need to leave a number and message and would return my call. The number that Palmer had was different than the number in the book, so I called that number with the same message.
I called the number from a different number than what was on my account after leaveing a message. I was contacted by a man calling his name as "Ray". He adviced me to right "concel" on the contract page in my booklet and send it to Palmer. I hope this will concel my contract with out get in lawyer fees and a court case. We will see and I will report if this fix the problem.
