Direct TV Herman was the associate I spoke to Theives and liars! Internet, North Carolina
I recently attempted to lower my cable bill with Charter and called Direct TV. They promised a nice package for 63.00 a month compared to the 232.00 I pay each month. It was on a sunday when I called which "my" bank was NOT open until Tuesday because of Memorial Day holiday. Herman the associate stated they had a $1.00 start up fee and the rest would be billed later that week after I could get to the bank to deposit the $63.00. I told him over and over I only had $5.00 in my account so make sure they dont take nothing out other then the $1.00. Herman also put the account in my husbands name without my husbands knowledge or asking to speak with him. I woke up Tuesday morning before they had even installed the Satelite with my bank account in the negative because Herman goofed and didnt give me the $1.00 start up like he said and charged my account $21.45. So I called and told them what happened and basically they apologized but wasnt willing to refund my money. I explained that was theft because that wasnt what was agreed and he said they couldnt speak to me any longer they had to speak to the account holder which was my husband. I said I 100% made the account, its my bank you stold the money from and you want to speak to my husband??
I have never in my life dealt with such a dishonest, theft company in my life. The second associate I spoke to would not even connect me to the original associate "Herman" because they have over 300 associates. So whats the point in them volunteering their names, it doesnt do any good! When a company says they are going to do something and then do something else without your knowledge, their liars! When they take funds from your account that was NOT agreed to you, their theives! For the rest of my life I will tell anyone that ask's about Direct TV, what they did to me! Its plan wrong! Try DISH NETWORK!
