I was sued by Directv relating to purchases of electonic devices online. I was one of the first end users to go to trial. All alleged violations were time barred due to statute of limitations. However, the judge decided that "continuing violations" applied and I was hit with a huge judgment. It is now on appeal in the 9th Circuit.

Recent evidence has come to light regarding the records used to initiate these thousands of lawsuits. The custodian of the records has stated under oath at a recent deposition that he could not verify any of the records & he just signed whatever documents Directv put in front of him. The settlement agreement between Mr. Madvig & DTV has recently been ordered unsealed by a ditrict court in CA. It reveals a $0.00 settlement between this distributor of tens of thousands of devices in turn for "verification" of shipping records to individuals nationwide.

In addition, 2 former investigators for Directv have come forward with incriminating evidence regarding their mass litigation campaign. Documents revealed by these indivuals show a very profittable litigation campaign.

In my case, Larry Rissler, former vice president of signal integrity for Directv made statements on the witness stand that were knowingly false. After the trial I received documents backing up this claim.

This corporation has sued thousands of its customers with little or no evidence. They have lied to the courts & abused the system in the name of anti-piracy. Unfortunately, the media has barely reported this. I have documents to back up these claims.

As the writer above, I have tried to report to authorities what I beleive are criminal violation committed by company employees. I have considerable supporting evidence but have found the system of Justice as it is today in the United States will not even receive a complaint let alone investigate felony crime connnected with these people or this company.

i have been round and round with these idiots for months and finally gave the whole mess to our attorneys. then tonight recieved a call from a collection agency that refused to identify themselves properly or to give me their name. very rude and would not lsiten to what my attorney told me to tell them if they should call. i think it is way past time for a national class action law suit to be filed and the fcc to get shoulder deep in an investgation.
