When the installation of my DIRECTV system was made it was evidently not made correctly. The installer assurred me the system would work correctly. It didn't
Evidently DIRECTV has no way to file a complaint.The only people I have been able to contact have been in their so called "Technical Dept" Technical in this name is a joke. One operator told me one thing and another told me the whole thing was wrong. Their "supervisor " informed me that their was no higher level for complaints. She advised me to write a letter to the President of DIRECTV.
WOuld this be John Malone at their El Segundo address?

i work for directv and i have filed complaints against technicians a couple of times. all we do is fill out a form and it's sent to the office the tech works out of to his supervisor. you can also ask directv for the number to the hsp that tech works out of and contact his supervisor directly. also to the other complaint on here, that cabling you are talking about is something that techs seem to like mentioning to customers but we have no way of ordering it. it is automatically generated at the time of order and we can't control who gets it and who doesn't. i didn't have it the first time i signed up for directv over a year ago, but when i used the mover's connection it came with my new equipment i got with the move.

DIRECTV installer "miss spoke"? But just old news

In April a DIRECTV installer informed me on a new hookup that running DIRECTV and cable TV thru the same cable was possible and this was the way to go. Starting in June we were away from this site until October. Now DIRECTV "technicians"say it will not work this way, but they refuse to run a separate line because the installation was only guaranteed fo 90 days.
