On May 3, 2013 I Maylyn Perez called Discount House Hunter at 855-717-4663 at 12:45 pm and I purchased over the phone the service which they promised me I had 30 days to redeem/refund my full amount of $199.95 if not satisfied with the service they provided. Discount House Hunters sent me an email to log in to their web site. On May 3, 2013 at 12:57 pm, I logged into their website and right away I noticed that the service wasn't what they had offered me over the phone. On May 3, 2013 at 1:50 pm I called 855-717-4663 and spoke with same lady, Ms. Sherry, who I initially placed the order with. I asked her to please cancel this transaction since I was not satisfied with their service and to refund the full amount as promised by them within 30 days and she stated that she was not able to refund me absolutely nothing since she was not in charge of doing so, she gave me this number, 877-207-2330, to call and see what they could do for me. When I called that number it was disconnected. I called back again at 1:52 pm on May 3, 2013 and spoke with a guy name Cesar at ext. 242 and he stated that he was not refunding nothing because he was not allow to do so, he directed me to call 877-207-2330, the same number that is disconnected and I explained to him that 877-207-2330 is a non working number and he said that there is nothing he can do. I also explained to him that when I initially purchased this service Ms. Sherry stated that I had 30 days to cancel at any time. I told him that this looks like a scam since they are lying to me and not being helpful. I purchased this service on May 3 at 12:45 pm and at 1:50 pm I called to cancel service and Discount House Hunters is denying me my right to refund my full amount back as they promised. Attached you can see that in their web site they have the statement that I can cancel my service at any time also they stated that on their Terms & Conditions on their web site there is more information and that statement is also false because no where in their web site they have listed nothing related to any Terms & Conditions. What I'm requesting from Bank of America is to return my full amount since this web site/ company lied over the phone by promising my full amount within 30 days and they did not give me that right even though I called the same day to cancel. Their web site is. At the end I sw never able to get my money back. Hopefully this will help others not to end up how they got me.
