DiscountBookSale.com SmartSavingsCenter.com DiscountBookSale gives good price at start but with hidden Membership fee, a $33 purchase for books has turned into $63. Internet, Florida
On January 23, 2011, I ordered books from DiscountBooksSale.com which was one of the first websites that popped up when I googled the book. The price was about $2 reduced from their competition for this particular book. The charges on my credit card went through and...
On January 31, 2011, I get a new charge for $9.95. Unfortunately, I didn't notice it until the end of March when I was charged again. Looking back I see charges for $9.95 on March 1st and March 29th.
I went back through the order form and printed out thier "Membership Policy" and everything that it talks about is the relationship between them and you and NEVER mentioned a monthly service fee for membership. I have these documents printed out.
If anyone chooses to take these idiots to court, please let me know, I really don't think it's worth $30, but if there will be a class action law suit, I'd be happy to get about $20 back.
