DISH INTERNET AND TV : SCAM DO NOT GET This is going to be short due to very slow internet speed and pages load very slowly. Sadly I have no other option picking service providers. Dish is the only company that is in our rural area. So my internet speed has never meet what Dish says. I am a long time customer of Dish over 20 years now. My average download speed is less than 1GBPS we are talking dial up speeds if not slower. My upload speed is a big 100 KBPS. I have called and called even reported them to the BBB. When I call and advise them of my problem every time I get well that is best we can do since it is satellite internet. very slow internet speed not as promised or advertised Nationwide

I will give you two examples: last night I tried to download my windows updates. I had to leave my laptop on all night over 9 hours and when I woke up it was still downloading. I tried to download Google Chrome and it took 8 hours. I bet the crap hole countries have better internet speeds than Dish puts out. Then they want $100 bucks to send a tech out to fix their mess. I can't afford that so here I am still with slow internet. When I asked about getting a new router because I have the same one over 20 years old. They won't even do that for a customer and they want me to pay over $200 bucks to update a router. Now onto the TV service I have the basic programing but most of the stations are shopping channels. Even when I went to the flex pack it is still with all those d**n shopping stations nobody wants. My last complaint is they sell Hughes internet service which is cheaper, faster and way more date limit than Dish. I tried to get Hughes net but I was told I can't get it in my yard but my neighbor can. I will be sending a false advertising report to the BBB yet again, but nothing will be done I am sure. very slow internet speed not as promised or advertised United States
