"Once we called to cancel they conviced us to keep our dish at no charge until we decided that we wanted to stay with DirecTV." That right there is why you are being charged. You kept their equipment. They agreed to let you keep it until you decided to stay with direct TV. Did you send dish network back their equipment after you decided to stay with directTV? If not then they are charging you for keeping their property

After spending a half an hour on the phone with them they still refuse to listen to us that they misled us over the past four months. They refuse to remove our charges. This is ridiculous. We will now report them to the BBB.
