On Sept. 14, 2010 I disconnected my Dish Network Service - When I called to find out about shipping their equipt. back - a very rude young man informed me that I needed to call another number - when I asked him to hold while I got a pen - he replied "Any one w/half a brain could remember this number" - Finally reached a person - again another rude one - about sending me a box to return this equipt. and was told that if it wasn't returned within 15 days - I would have to pay for it - Finally rec'd the box w/instructions and a mailing label - returned it all the very next day via UPS - yesterday I rec'd a bill for $16.20 for the service period of 10/21/10 thru 11/20/10 - when I called to find out why - I was informed that this was to pay for the shipping label and box - If I had known I would be charges for all of this - I would have found a box and returned all of this via the Post Office for a lot less money - I am so tired of big companies ripping off the consumer - I will never recommend Dish to anyone - the fact that I had to pay this extra money just burns me up - I am a senior citizen living on an extremely limited budget - that was the reason I dropped dish - couldn't afford the $79 a month I was being charged just to watch TV and half the time it would go out - If there was a way - I would go back to the TV antennae - instead we have to deal w/companies like this - Yes I paid them - but guess I just don't pay my water bill this month - Dish TV for disconnect is a MAJOR RIP OFF!!!!!!

You should have been informed when you cancelled the services that you had the option of either using our provided label for $15, or finding an option of your own.
