As I was googling to file a complain myself about the practices used by Dish Network to get your business then basically lie over and over as your payment continues to go up. I honestly think they train their employees to either act dumb or they get the complaint so often that the company has brainwashed them otherwise I do not know how someone with any morals at all could work with a company that operates in this way. To back up my comment I came across thousands of complaints of the same nature regarding this company as well as a lawsuit, I guess the lawsuit against Dish Network did not do any good!! they are still doing the same shady thing. Funny how the employee of Dish only addressed the holes placed by the third party installer.. that is common for them.. they ignore the whole billing thing but think they have validity to bash the third party installing their equipment and probally dont even get paid much except for the installation fee. In any regard I cut and pasted part of the posting of the lawsuits and complaints with the better business bureu. See below..
Among the complaints filed with the state and the BBB regarding the Dish Network: Dish and its authorized retailers would offer big packages with discounts for a two-year commitment from consumers and then boost the price and/or reduce service. Consumers who then wanted to cancel their service were told they would face hundreds of dollars in cancellation penalties. Dish also was accused of drawing payment from customers' bank accounts and credit cards without proper warning or authorization and violating Do-Not-Call telemarketing laws. Also, customers complained they were not informed that their premium sports packages were subject to blackout and that they might not receive their local TV stations.

Hello there. I just wanted to shed some light on your post here, and help you out. With the installation fee, because your account was signed up through a sales partner, or authorized retailer, they were the ones to charge that $50. That is why you saw that charge, and had to 3-way with the 3rd party and DISH. I am sorry that there was damage left to your house. You could file a damage claim with the 3rd party. If your signal was constantly going out, a technician would have been best, because it sounds like an alignment issue. I am sorry for the frustrations, and I hope that this helps explain what what was happening.
