I can see how you newer customers are feeling. After discovering this website my views stayed unchanged, until last week! I have been with Dish for 7 years, always recieved awesome customer service and great responses. Last week a mysterious box arrived on my porch. It contained a note from Dish stating to return my equipment immediately. Confused, I called Dish and low and behold (no offense to folks of Indian decent) they've moved their Customer Service to India. I inquired about the box and they stated I had a reciever not in use and to return it right away. I argued with this lady and got put on hold at least 6 times. My original account states that I lease 2 rcv'ers, during this time I purchased another from a private party. Yes I wasn't using one of leased rcv'ers but HEY I'm still paying for it on my bill somewhere! Then the lady told me the one I purchased wasn't mine and it was a leased unit, I exploded. After another 15min. hold she then stated it was mine and asked how much I paid for it. My response, "That's none of your or Dish's business, plus I called to ensure the rcv'er was free and clear prior to purchase, try again!" Like I stated I've been with the company since the beginning, but they've screwed their customers by subsudizing and trying to save a buck!
