I called dish network to get their broadcast service. And I used to be a customer with them over a year ago. I called and I did the setup for the new account, and they setup an installation date. My wife took the day off from work and stayed home between 8am-12pm as they asked. the technician came looked around the house and the boxes and the satellite dish in the top of our roof. And then he said to my wife that he can't do the job because he doesnt have the right material or the tools. And he promised he will be back with his boss later this afternoon. My wife cancelled her plans and stayed until 6pm at the house and no one showed up. I called the next day dish network customer service and they promised to fix the problem and they send another technician to finish the job. I scheduled for Sunday so I will be home because my wife refused to deal with them. The technician came around 9am in Sunday morning. walked in my house with his shoes on. And started to cut wires in the top my flower beds in my yard. So I asked him to please give me the cut pieces on my hand and not to throw them on my flowerbeds. Then he went to pick up the ladder to climb on the top of the roof and he chosed to walk over the flowerbeds again and not the walkway, which is less, then 2 feet away. after that he got in the house and hooked up the TV with a wire and he tested for a signal. And then he said well its all good you have a strong signal. Then he started to pick up his tools to get ready to leave. I asked him what about the channels because all I see is a signal and not the actual TV. and his answer was that his work order is only to position the satellite dish and have nothing to do with wiring the satellite boxes to our TV. I couldn't understand or believe what he said and I asked him to wait so I can contact dish network to solve the issue. His answer was, that is your problem with them and not me. And he drove his truck away. while me and wife looking at each other in a total shock. I called the customer service which they escalated the call to an Executive resolution person he apologized and promised to send another Technician by 3pm that same day. we waited and no one showed up. I called that same person back again and he was gone for the day and in his voicemail was a message that he will be back on Thursday. I called the customer service the next day and I was really wondering why this is happening to us. and one of their customer service associates advised me very calmly and in such a rude way to just close the account if we are not happy with service. I will never go back to this company and I will never advice any one to get their service. And especially after what I read at ripoff report from other dish network customers. Do your self a favor and stay away from them. Thank You
