I am not sure how I managed to purchase DLL Suite from FastSpring, it was probably one of those things when you are trying to download something you want but actually wind up downloading something they are advertising.
I was then stupid enough not to notice a monthly payment going out via PayPal for all of 4 months. When I read comments on this site I concluded that I had been well and truly stuffed.
However, that is when it all changed. I contacted Fastspring who acknowledged immediately and then contacted me within a few hours with full details of my accidental purchase. I replied explaining that it had all been a mistake and asking if I could have some compensation whilst recognising that it was my fault and that they must have incurred costs. I had a very quick and friendly reply stating that my case was being looked at.
Within 24 hours they had refunded all the money I had paid over a four month period.
Alltogether one of the best experiences I have had of dealing with an internet company when something has gone wrong
