Doba.com represents itself on the internet to be a wholesaler of merchandise and that anyone can re-sell their merchandise on Ebay and other sites.

Here are the problems:

Doba.com charges you $49.95 per month for the priviledge to help them sell their products for them. Doba simply buys the so-called "wholesale merchandise" from Overstock.com, marks it up, then tries to sell it to you, and tells you they'll drop-ship the items for you. How nice of them!

They got me and this is exactly what I found out by trying to do business with them after I found them on a search for "wholesalers" on the internet.

By the way, beware of the so-called "wholesaler review sites", because Doba owns a number of them. That's a clever way for them to sucker people in, like they suckered me.

Believe me (because I tried) the stuff NEVER sells because it's WAY OVER-PRICED and you look like an idiot on Ebay, compared to the true pros who work with REAL WHOLESALERS.

Here's another thing to consider:

Have you ever noticed that EVERY single get-rich-quick offer in the infomercials on TV, or on the internet, are ALL BASED IN UTAH???

They are all part of the Utah mafia as I like to call them. They prey on people who are unemployed, under-employed, or people just looking to start a legitimate business of their own.

These people usually have limited resources and get suckered into scams like Doba, or worse, the get-rich-quick real estate scams and "multiple streams of income" scams. Their poor victims charge up to thousands of dollars on their credit cards, use their savings, and get swindled every time, falling prey to these Utah wise-guys.

It's time for government to get involved. Just because they don't use a gun when they hold these people up, does not mean that they should be allowed to continue with their fraudulant scam operations.

They are running an ongoing criminal enterprise the way I see it, because there are no disclosures that should be provided to the consumer. An independant review board must be set up to investigate these scams and they should be licensed as well. There should be a special license to ask the public to purchase a program that claims to make people lots of money.

Believe me, if any of these snake-oil salesmen, all based in Utah, could actually make the kind of money that they falsely claim their customers make, then they sure wouldn't need to sucker people into costly "workshops". They would simply go out and do what they teach (preach).

Bottom line: stay away from the Utah mafia!!! If they are based in Utah and make wild claims about making tons of money, run like the wind and keep on running. You be thankful and a whole lot richer, too.

I hope I can help someone.

Doba is NOT a scam

Calling Doba a "scam" is completely absurd, erroneous, and misleading; so is your unsubstantiated claim that they buy items from Overstock.com and resell them to their customers. The word scam would imply that they snatched your money and ran...something I hardly believe ever happened. Using a service such as Doba can be a very beneficial tool for online retailers. Unfortunately, many individuals do not know how to utilize such services properly and are really looking to "get rich quick." Also, keep in mind that drop shipping is not ideal for those looking to purchase only a handful of items at wholesale pricing; drop shipping works best when retailers order items in bulk. I do not work for Doba (or any other drop shipping company, for that matter) but I think it is highly unfair and perhaps even unethical for disgruntled customers to smear companies with unconfirmed and often damaging allegations.
