On the morning of 9/22/14 a field representative from Dominion East Ohio Gas was to be at my home to inspect the three year old meter in my basement. I received an automated call at 10:14am telling me the rep was on his/her way. My fiance was in the garage watching while I did chores inside. The rep pulled up across the street about 10 minutes later, went to my neighbors house, and promptly left before we could catch him.

I called Dominion to inform them of the mistake. I was shouted at by a first rep. When I reached Matt, he said the rep claimed we were not at home and would need to reschedule. I told him that neither my fiance nor I would be able to afford another day off work (we have no compensation for time off) and this wasn't my fault. I asked for a supervisor.

Felicia was friendly -even when she called my fiance and I liars repeatedly. I told her of my financial situation and she said we had to reschedule anyway. No big deal to her as I'm sure she's paid plenty to be so condescending. When I asked what was available, she told me (after some time on hold) that there wasn't any and my gas will be shut off.  She then went on to say I waited too long to schedule my appointment and it was my fault.

I was beyond enraged and my fiance, Steve, took over. He was treated by Felicia in the same haughty manner. When he was transfered to Felicia's supervisor, she was even more rude and refused to acknowledge that a field rep could make a very dumb mistake. After sometime she did agree to schedule us for next Monday (9/29/14) during the same time frame.

I hope they send someone who can read this time. I just don't think its right for my fiance and I to be out 2 days wages for Dominion's blundering inefficiency. No one should be treated the way we were by Dominion Customer Service -- ever.
