Russ, It is easy to hide behind your computer screen and attack companies that are trying to do right and correct errors of the past. If you are such a saint then why not step up and become a politician or car salesperson so that you can make a real difference. I am sure that you are the only honest person in this world and none of the rest of us could be. On another note... Though I doubt that the original customer still has the problems (notice that was back in 2003), I would be happy to talk with him and see how I could assist. Unfortunately due to nothing more than a first name left on this site, and a lack of records left behind by Autonation, I could not find out exactly who the above was. I figure that this was most likely a used vehicle. If it was a new vehicle it would have been handled throgh the factory in the case of an expected Lemon Law vehicle.

What I seem to notice on all of these Auto Dealer Ripoff Reports is a never ending, predictable, cyclical, pattern about them all. 1.A customer gets hosed at a car dealership. 2.Someone from the dealership apologizes, often proclaiming with new people there, things will be better. 3.Another customer gets hosed eventually. 4.Another "apology" with a promise that it hopefully won't happen again. 5.Another customer gets hosed. 6.Another "apology" 7. Another customer gets hosed. 8.Another apology. 9.Etc,Etc,Etc. It seems to be an irreversible phenomena. Like the sun coming up every morning, like the seasons changing every year, like the planets revolving around the sun, like another lying politician (or car salesman),it's a predicible, locked in cyclic pattern that is absolute, never changing, never ending. Sorry, but it cannot and will not ever stop.It is a part of the universe that cannot and will not ever change in our lifetime. It is locked in until the time our universe collapes into itself, burns up, and gets sucked into a black hole once and for all.It is our fate .

I would like to appoligize for your experience in the past. At the time you purchased your vehicle Don-A-Vee Chrysler Jeep was under the ownership by Autonation, a.k.a. Power (in California). As of a year ago, Don-A-Vee is udner new ownership and things have changed. The new owner of Don-A-Vee is not a large corporation and now has a personal interest in the store. He previously owned one of the largest and most respected Jeep Dealerships in the nation. His current task is making Don-A-vee what they used to be, the leading Jeep and Chrysler dealer here in the U.S. Our customer service ratings are now at an all time high and we are here to please the customer. I can assure anyone who visits our store that they will be more than happy with our customer service and support.
