We contracted with Charles L. Miller, Service Manager for Done Rite Plumbing and Sewer, to install a sump pump and underground pipe to take the pumped water out to the edge of our yard. He installed the pipe incorrectly so that it froze in January, at which time one of his assistants cut it off, leaving water to drain from a pipe coming out of our basement.
Despite the fact that we paid for a "lifetime protection plan," we were unable to contact Miller to get the pipe installed correctly. After 8 months of trying, we contacted a local plumber, who fixed the installation of the pipe.
Done Rite Plumbing and Sewer was recommended to us by a water restoration company we contacted after a storm drain backup in our basement. In retrospect, we should have been leery of the fact that Done Rite never gave us an address.
