Kimber Waterstradt, catering manager was dishonest in her dealings regarding a planned high school reunion event. Initially had several venues to choose from but chose this one because she was willing to work with us & waive minimums etcetera because we did not know how we'll- attended our event would be & did not want to be financially responsible or held to minimums. Negotiated every detail in person face to face but when contract was executed online, the terms are vastly different. Unbeknownst to us, it had a 100 person guarantee. Now willing to renegotiate but terms are still not acceptable. Must work on commission. Avoid any event at this hotel. Charleston has too many nice event locations and much better parts of town and nicer facilities where the people are honest to deal with.
