I was 12 years old when i thought my life was going to change. A sleazy looking man asked me while staring into my eyes as if he would hurt me if he were in a room alone with me "Are you a model?" "No." i replied, "i always have wanted to though." People had always said i was pretty enough and i had always admired al those beautiful woman on covers and billboards. I ran home and read the card 5 times, finally my mother had gotten home and i gave it to her hopeing she would say i could go. She called them and they seemed very unprofessional. When we asked what to wear they replied "i dunno something nice." We wen't and the building was a dump, dirty and dark. I looked on the walls and all i saw were headshots- no covers they had done or anything. I had a feeling it was a scam but i didnt want to believe it. Two hours later they called me into the photo room. My mother wasn't allowed. "Smile" i smiled. "Look up" i looked up. "All done" what? It was finished afetr three minutes. I coudn't believe it. A month later they called and we wen't back. The lady we saw gave us a lame excuse and questionier about why i would want to be a model and what my friends would think..like i cared. When she saw i had braces i said "will these effect anything?" "No you can be in a add for braces...your very pretty." "Thank you. What? an add for braces?" "Yes" :"never seen one." "Too bad." "the book will be $500 plus headshots $100. Makeup $200. Then we'll sign you." Finally i knew it was fake. "No thanks. But i think i'll just go to ford." "wait but.." "Thanks for your time and effort though." I got up and left. Dovrcheli is a scam and i want everyone of those people in jail.
