I purchased Dr. Gunzburg's "Saving Your Marriage Made Remarkably Simple" a few months ago. he had a very nice sales pitch and everything sounded good.

The book to me ended up being worthless. it was a rehash of basically a) common sense b) things you can get on the internet for free.

I emailed multiple times requesting a refund, and each time was ignored.

I even received a marketing email from the personal inbox of the marketing manager, and upon sending an email to that address, received a ticket, proving the email was received.

No response at all. None whatsoever.

This is simply reprehensible.

The book is subpar as it is, but one of his main selling points is the 100% Money Back Guarantee he offers in plain site on his webpage, which of course he does not stand by.

You pay $97 for a book that isn't worth a flip and then the merchant refuses to stand behind their satisfaction/money back guarantee....that is shady and scammy as it gets. Period.

it is disgusting and I want to make sure everyone is aware of this shady, sleazy, fly-by-night marketing from this company run by Dr. Frank Gunzburg and his company Breakthrough Learning Institute.

Buyer beware. If you buy the book, you better pray to God you like it, or you're up the creek, because they sure aren't going to honor their Money Back Satisfaction Guarantee.

I am Frank Gunzburg. The material is published and distributed by Breakthroughlearninginstitute.com which is an independent company. I have never known a time when they did not honor a refund request. On rare occasion I receive an email or phone call from someone who did not receive a refund and the publisher resolves the situation very quickly--typically in less than 24 hours. Reasons: the email was sent to "junk" or "spam" mail, or the customer sent the request to the blog service rather than to the publisher, or the customer misspelled the email address, or the customer did not clearly ask for a refund. There was a short time when the publisher's software was not functioning properly, but fortunately, that was caught pretty quickly and of course was repaired. If the person who registered the complaint has still not been refunded his money, please have him contact me directly and I will forward his information to the publisher and have this taken care of promptly.
