I've been ordering items from Dr. Leonard's off and on for years and have had only one problem with them - an item I ordered never arrived. I live less than 2 miles from the company and hadn't received it after 4 weeks, so I called the company and spoke with a very nice young man who not only made sure a second item was shipped, he sent it out express delivery at no extra charge to me - and I got it the very next day! THAT'S what customer service is all about! Like most of these catalog companies, you have to pick and choose carefully what's worth trying and what isn't. When you buy something in the store you have the ability to look at the item, but not so catalog shopping - care needs to be taken on the consumer end. And it doesn't hurt to contact the company BEFORE buying, to verify return policies, etc. While I do believe that there is a certain amount of responsibility to be taken by ANY company selling products, there is also responsibility on the consumer side as well. No one is perfect. Mistakes happen. To call a company "con artist" because of one bad experience isn't fair; nor is it realistic or even mature. It seems there's an awful lot of people "out there" with anger management issues.

The products I received from "Dr Leonards" have been as represented.I think some consumers order things, than after it arrives they wonder why they got it. Returns aren't difficult - it's the 2-way postage that adds up - not the company's fault and it shouldn't be responsibile for consumer errors. If the consumer isn't sure what he is getting. . .buy locally for easier return. If you are a disgruntled employee, former or present, buck up - look for another job more suitable or start your own business so you can receive the barbs that you are giving!
