I would first like to say that I have been suffering from TMJ for years. I made this clear to Dr. Sid Solomon's staff when I called them. They assured me that he is the best and is world known for helping TMJ patients. I felt a bit uneasy when speaking with his staff it seemed like a bad scripted sales pitch. But when youre in chronic pain all day you will take risks and money becomes of no object. They informed me that there is a consultation fee because Dr. Sid Solomon's time is so
limited because of all the TMJ patient's he sees. I agreed to pay the fee and scheduled my appointment. 

I arrived for my first appointment and noticed the office was empty, no patients anywhere to be seen. Just one lady in the front that seemed to be very nice and polite, she looked very familiar. Come to find out she's in the testimonial videos on his website. So I guess he's having his staff do fake testimonial videos so they can add to their credibility. I didn't find this out
till it was too late. On my first appointment they brought me into this little room and sat me in this comfortable chair. He began asking me questions while hooking me up to some device. He really has this entire scam set up pretty well
to make you think he knows what he is doing. So after about 20 minutes of talking and doing his tests he calls in the front desk lady. They start talking about the mouth devices I need so that I won't be in pain anymore. They assure me that this special device costs only about $6500 and it will 100% cure my pain. This sounded way too good to be true, I think to myself why has no other expert suggested this before? Maybe he knows something they don't know because he is "world known". Anyways I fell for this very elaborate sales pitch and accepted treatment. Shortly after I receive this mouth guard look alike device that is going to cure my TMJ. I wear it just as explained to me and guess what?
Nothing... Same pain levels no change what so ever. 

So this is where all the fun begins. I call them to explain that the device isn't working and what the heck should I do. They bring me back in for another review with the Doctor and he explains to me that I need some special surgery. At this point I'm telling him I cannot afford this and I want my money back for the device since it doesn't work. As soon as he heard money
back he lit up his eyes got big and he became enraged. He quickly calls the front desk lady in to "save the deal" and explain to me no refunds. They offer to re do the device for free and if that doesn't work they will refund my money. So soon after I get the device and use as directed, no change in my pain. I call and say enough is enough, refund me my money! The front desk lady turns into a different person and basically tells me to screw off, she hangs up the phone. I called them a dozen times and they would continue to be extremely rude to me and hang up. So now I'm out a lot of money and I still
have zero relief. Don't trust their fancy devices and their very strong sales pitch, its all a scam. This guy has no idea what he is doing he's just here to scam you out of your money. If you do a yelp search on him you will see many bad reviews that expose him for what he really is. As a long time patient of this dental office, I wanted to add some comments and let the readers know that I am very happy with DrSolomon and his staff. I don't know if the review above is real or fake, but I would say it is very likely posted by a competitor. I am always supsecious of a review, where the reviwer does not disclose who they are. If this is really what happened, why would someone not disclose their identity and provide a way to verify it? I challange this person to come back and post some evidence that they were a real patient.

I never swear by anything but I am replying to this because I swear by Dr. Solomon's work. I hate to see something like this when I know from first hand experience how life changing his treatment can be.

This ripoff report cannot possibly be real as my experience was far from this. There was never a sales pitch, rather an honest and genuine desire to help me. He never guarenteed anything with me but promised to do his best and sure enough, it worked. As far as the staff goes, I have never seen a nicer and more curteous team who is constantly aware of what's best for me. He is my general dentist too and his practice is always pretty busy. The only time it wasn't busy was when I saw him for my consultation and that was because he put one hour of his time to work with me. I am pretty good when it comes to fishing out greedy people, and I can confidently say that this doctor is not one of them. In fact, he is an all around down to earth man with a strong desire to help his patients.

I have seen Mr. Solomon several times for dental work. He is a great dentist and the nicest person. I just cannot believe that any of this is true or that he would put his reputation online to scam someone. he is simply not that type of a person and you would know this if you meet him in person. His wife Fay is also a great person. They run a very professional business and it is just sad that sites like this allow announymous people to post whatever they want without providing any evidence or posting their real names.

I am Fay Solomon and I am the "woman" that this fraudulent report is referring to.

This report is a sabotage attempt by our competitors and we have filed a legal action in Arizona (the headquarters of this website) to obtain the true identity of the person who did this. It contains non-coherent, repeated, illogical lies that were fabricated only to hurt us.   We take our reputation very seriously and have worked 27 years to build it.  We will not let these lies prevent us from providing quality, compassionate, and certified care to our patients.

If you are the writer of this report, you are hereby put on notice (for a second time) to reveal your true identity and call me Fay Solomon at 310-475-5598 so that we may rectify this matter accordingly.

I am Fay Solomon and I urge those reading this report to read this rebuttal.

I am Dr. Solomon's wife, patient and practice coordinator for the past 22 years.  I am "the woman in the video and the woman in the front desk." I say very clearly in that vidoe that I am proud to be Dr. Solomon's wife and patient.  I wear the orthosis Dr. Solomon made for my TMJ and it has helped me get through the most difficult days of my life- which is why I was compelled to put my own testimonial, along with 30+ others from patietns Dr. Solomon has effectively treated, on our site.

Your report is the only scam/fraud here and you should be ashamed of yourself! You are ripping consumers who are in pain off by writing lies to keep them from coming to our office.  You are trying to ruin Dr. Solomon's good name and rest assured I will not sit by and let that happen.

Fact 1: I am the only women who works in the front and I  have never hung up on any patient ever.  This is my own office and the reason I take time away from my children every single day is to properly take care of patients and make sure their needs are properly handled.  I would never hang up ever on any person- not even marketing companies, let alone patients.  Dr. Solomon has been bending backwards for patients for 27 years and we treat them like family.  Sure we are not perfect, but if any patient ever has a problem, both Dr. Solomon and I work endlessly to resolve the issues and ensure 100% customer satisfaction.  This office is our life and livelihood and I would never let a patient even be mad at us- let alone repeatedly hang up on them (as your bogus report claims.) 

Fact 2: Dr. Solomon never ever guarantees 100% anything to anyone.  What professional would ever do such a thing?  The body is such a complicated mechanism that no doctor should or would ever claim to guarantee a cure to anything.  The TMJ is specially complicated and this is why Dr. Solomon is a rare treasure in this field: he understands the joint like no other and he understands what TMJ pain is because he has lived it.  You claim the guarantee was too good to be true- well it was because it was never verbalized or implied by anyone -especially Dr. Solomon. The only thing he guarantees is his complete devotion to do his best to help each and every patient.

Fact 3: I, again the woman you supposedly refer to never go in to discuss fees or prices with patients.  Furthermore, our fee is not the price you state is your bogus report. Our fee is considerably lower than that and next time you start a lie- get your fact straight first.

Fact 4: We never "hook you up" to anything in a TMJ consultation.  The consultation is a comprehensive one on one with Dr. Solomon and he examines the patient's health history, signs and symptoms in great depth and detail normally takes one hour or more.  Once Dr. Solomon determines the patient is a good candidate for treatment, we will go over fees and treatment details.  Then and only then, if the patient consents to treatment after understanding every detail, and the patient freely chooses to commence treatment, will we even start planning the actual treatment.  His time is valuable and he has studied long and hard enough, helped thousands of people, and worked hard enough to deserve the title of a TMJ expert. Shame on you for writing these lies and calling him "this guy." 

Fact 5: Dr. Solomon has helped hundreds of patients and continues to do every single day. He helps patients with proven scientific neuromuscular dentistry techniques and he is highly respected among patients and colleagues alike.   What you are doing is a crime. Furthermore, you are trying to dissuade other patients who have real TMJ pain from getting relief/help from a kind and good doctor who may actually be able to help them... and that is a sin- in any religion.  

This is a formal demand on the author of this report to call me, Fay Solomon at 310-475-5598 to resolve this matter ASAP. Rest assured that I will be pursuing my right to subpeona your true identity and make this right. 

Finally, you are totally entitled to your opinion and we all know the 1st amendment grants us that.  But you are not entitled to make or post remarks which are false or defamatory. The law protects me just as it protects you. There is enough patients to go around for everyone. Why don't you focus your time and efforts on honestly earning a living without resorting to sabotage ...and in the meantime, leave the rest of us who are dedicating our lives to true patient care alone so we can try to make this world a better place by helping people get out of pain.
