Drive Financial Services ripoff, Used an Investigative Service to call my house and tell me charges were pressed against me deceptive ripoff company, one pissed off customer! Dallas Texas
I was only behind on my car payment 3 weeks and I had called them.They sent a guy to my house at 9:00 pm knocking on my door telling me that if they did't have there money soon then they would be out to get the car.
They called my house daily at least 4 times with threatening messages.I had lost my job and told them that I might be slow making payments,and so they called my old employer asking them all kinds of questions about me....How embarrassing?!
When I was 1 month behind, they had a company called Dallas County Investigators call my house and a lady left a message on my machine stating that I needed to call her immediately regarding some charges that had been pressed against me. After seeing the name on my caller I.D. and hearing the message I thought I was about to go to jail.....How decieving?!
When I called the lady back...she said she was simply trying to get the car back for Drive Financial and there had been no charges pressed.There has to be a law against this. I am now current on my payments and the calls have stopped but i am still very angry that a company can get away with this type of behavior. I am one pissed off customer.

I WILL NEVER EVER DO BUISNESS WITH THEM AGAIN.THEY ARE FULL OF CRAP. I ALSO HAD THE PLEASURE OF THEM SEND SOMEONE TO MY HOME & CHARGING ME $75.00 FOR THIS. I ASKED THAT THEY NOT CALL MY JOB, THEY CONTINUE TO DO SO. THIS IS VERY EMBARRASING BECAUSE ALL OF THE CALLS ARE RECORDED. THEY TALK TO YOU SO NASTY. I HATE THEM & AS I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL MY CAR IS PAID OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They basically made you think that Drive filed criminal charges against you and were going to jail. That is not lawful under the Fair Debt Collection Act. It would be helpful to your case if you saved the message. You can then sue Drive and this other company in Small Claims Court, not requiring an attorney. Good luck.
