I am very unhappy with the fact that secured a loan through Drive Services. I lost my job maybe two months after purchasing my vehicle. I talked to two different people to make arrangements one person excepted them and the other one did not he told me that the check that I mailed would have to be voided and I would have to do a payment by western Union or over the phone or they would be forced to close my account. This was done for a payment that was only one week behind.

I am a single mother and have been having to make payments for the last 6 months using unemployment and child support alone. When I am one day late I start to get numerous messages on my answering machine telling me that I need to call them ASAP. Then the fact that they do not have a grace period is just ridiculous to me.

In my original contract it says that I have a ten day grace period but then when I talk to these people on the phone they are telling me that there is no grace period and once my payment is two days late they are charging my almost seven dollars a day in interest. After reading some of the stories on the page I am almost sorry that I gave them an updated address on me.

Does anyone know of any copanies that will refinance that are not hard asses to deal with? I will have had my car a year in August and I think that the best thing for me to try and do is refinance through another bank but I am afraid that I will get stuck in another deal like this, is there anyone out there who knows someone out of this hell other than a repo?
