I recently traded in a car that I financed through Drive Financial. Drive harassed me incesstantly to get the payoff balance from my new lender. They lied and said they spoke to my new lender and that my new lender did not agree to payoff the balance so I was responsible for it. The name of the individual that they claimed to have spoken to does not exist nor did they have the correct name of the dealership where I traded in the car. They threatened to repossess the car from the dealership. I told them to go ahead, but of course they were only lying. They don't want the car only the $$$. They also lied and said the payoff quote was only valid for 3 days. I've received at least 3 different pieces of correspondence from Drive within a week with 2 different payoff quotes and balances. The supervisors are just as bad as the pitiful reps. I spoke to Sylvia yesterday and she was more concerned with my new vehicle than anything else. "What kind of car do you have? Who is the lender? You know you're going to be late on a payment with them like you are with us." Keep in mind, I paid on my account for 3 years before I was late 30 days on my account. I'm currently working with my attorney to file a harassment lawsuit against Drive. Although I no longer have business dealings with Drive, they should not be allowed to harass people the way they do.
