I was laid off 9 months ago. Three months before I was laid off I thought it would be courteous if I let them know what was about to happen. Even then, they didn't seem to care. I wasn't necessarily asking for their sympathy, I was only trying to give them a fair warning of possible upcoming late payments. After that point, my payments slowly but surely became deliquent. I recognized my wrongs and tried my best to make my payments on time. I even tried to get an extension.

One day I was told I had it and two days later I was told I had until the end of the week to make my payment. Later on after numerous calls to family members and friend, one particular rep called my house 15+ times one morning before 9am in which he: called me a liar, told me I had given them a fake address, lied and said they tried to get my car, told me I had not been looking for a job and should have been working by that point and even questioned what I was doing with my money.

Not only that, this same rep called a friend's home, one which I had not listed as a reference, early that same morning and told this person all of my business. I know my rights. I simply hung up in his face, called back and asked for a manager, complained and further made my payments as I had planned.

Hi, I too am a consumer of Drive Financial and have recently had a problem with their service. They "supposedly" have not received my payment yet, which was due on the 11th of June. I sent this payment on the 9th to go to the payment center in Dallas. I live in Houston so it should only take two days at the most to reach them. Today is the 19th , my payment still has not posted and they are charging me 5$ a day late fees. The service rep told me that even if the patyment hit the center on the due date , that it takes an additionl 7 -10 days to post, and they are charging me late fees. Is that a racket or what...they receive my payment and then deliberatly hold it to accumulate late fees!!!!!!!!??? This company is a f****** joke. I'm am going to file a report with the BBB. Tell all friends and family to not do any business with this company.
