Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

This repair shop said they had never seen this before and then this would need to go to the dealership. So again we took it to the dealer. Then the arguing began over after market parts. The jeep already had an after market parts on the converter which now needed replaced again. They refused and we had to wait 3 days for the parts they found. Sure enough within 2 weeks we were heading to a family reunion and the car has the same problem and worse. We had to have a family member rent a car for us so we could make it. I have asked to let us bring the car in and trade it for another vehicle they said we would loose our down payment. Needless to say the car is going back into the shop to be fixed. They have not helped with a rental car that will fit my family. The customer service has been very poor. I have 5 children and this has been nothing but a huge inconvenience. I believe there is a reason that they only give you a 5 day return period its a scam.

I purchased an 06 Jeep commander from drive time. The very next day the car began to malfunction and was unable to shift.  The dealership said to go thru warrenty when we contacted warrenty they didn't even have the contract yet so we had to wait to get the car looked at.  We were already into day 3 of the 5 day return,

When I contacted the warrenty company they said the closest repair shop was 30 min away. When we took the car there it was there for two days before they figured out that they were unable to fix the problem because they had never seen it before.  However the air conditioner motor needed replaced as well as the spark plugs. They told me to go to a jeep dealership service center.

I went to the jeep service center where they told me it needed a new catalytic converter.  The car had already had an after market converter on it.  So the arguing with the warrenty company began they did not want to put factory parts on the car so we spent one day arguing and then we had to wait 3 days for a converter they found to arrive. Again an after market part.

Less than 2 weeks after the parts were replaced we were heading to our family reunion and in our V8 jeep we were unable to go above 60 the car would not shift.  We had to stop to rent a van for $500 to go to our reunion.  I have 5 children and they never provided a rental car to fit my family.  So in one months time I paid $2000 for a car I had maybe been able to drive for 10 days. The customer service has been awful and when I stopped by the dealership to see if they could help there attitude towards me was very cold.

It is in the shop again as I am writting this.  All I ever asked was to put us in a different viehicle and they refuse unless I want to put down another down payment and completly walk away from the $1300 I already put down on this car. I am truly saddened by the way a company who advertises quality vehicles has lied.  I should have taken the sign when another new drivetime vehicle from the same dealership was in for repairs at the first repair shop as well.
