Drive Time ripoff Deivetime Service Centers Of Tampa New Port Richey Florida
Well where to begin we just came back from Drive time.
We bought a 2001 Dodge Durango Sport in Feb. Wow it sure was nice and Drivetime was GREAT customer service...........ya well 2 weeks after purchasing Durango started making a noise call and call well 28 calls later to Warranty department with no return (Hey thanks Wayne) I finally get the AZ service Which was given to me from NPR Drivetime where we bought (Hey no problem with service there Thanks Steve & Eric. The girl in AZ was great to work with too. She finally gets me an appointment Guy says Transmission needs to be replaced Great get it all set up Took 2 weeks againOH by the way we are in April now Yea 2 months! Then we hear nothing again. Finally get a hold now the durango is gonna be towed to Amoco Transmission get fixed and by the way A/C went out and leak in roof while waiting for all this to get done with Transmission So my Durango goes to AMACO Transmissions thenover to Tampa service center of Durango comes back 9 days LAter Husband gets in WOW wonderful Job ! NOT!!!!
The noise is louder they busted the steering column Curbed all the tires, out of Adjustmen A/c still not fixed Oh the best part they put 400 miles on it!!! We call NPR Drivetime Well after some great talking Saying don't know whatis up We will get it fixed this time, Well it came back Yesterday May 23, 2006, Still makes noise A/C still not fixed haven't seen if it still leaks, So the Regional Manager says well get ya a new one they show us a WAY less comparable durango, Im mean ugh! the radio you can push in Our Durango had some extras this one plan Jane I mean come on!Then it cost more too! We ask about a Expidition hey we can't do that gonna have to shell out more money ya right!
So here we are gonna take our lumps and just get our Original Durango fixed with our own mechanic and pay for it ourselves. Drivetime needs something done! If customer service is so great step up to the plate and prove 2 times in shop still nothing fixed and it comes back to us WORSE! Mind you we pay our payments Early everytime, no hassle they have our $$ coming in, to bad they can't get simple work done! So beware don't fuss with Drivetime Looks great at the beginning but you will end up with much more of a headache in the end. and tack on the extra cost of having to take it to a mechanic that will fix your vechile. WARRANTIES are worth nothing if they don't fix it and cause more Damage
I would love to get a lawyer on this one! Something anything
