Drive Today U.S.A Birmingham car lot ripoff Birmingham Alabama
Biggest rip off. I wondered if I was the only one but their are others who are so angry with this car dealer. They sell used cars and make it sound like heaven sent when you arrive. Instead it is a hell on earth. Most car lots send you a used car as is with minimal issues not major. Test driving can only get you so far. As a women it felt like they took advantage of me and many other single women. When I asked about my car he told me no major problems at all only the tires and some fuses needed to be changed. Took his word for it. The dat I got it the air conditioning wasn't putting out cold air. He checked it out and told me all it had a thermostat. Windows wouldn't roll down and asked him why. He said it is just stuck. Sunroof wouldn't move, trunk wouldn't open. They kept saying it just needed fuses nothing major. WRONG! I got it checked out. Some of the parts are missing including some of the brain, window motor is gone, same for sunroof, heating Corel is broken on top of that did I mention the alternator was not screwed in? Was just laying in the compartment causing us to be stuck on the free way. The tires were rotting, trunk won't open due to someone taking the insides of the truck out?..I paid my payments on top every month even gave extra and they couldn't even hold 1 month payment to fix the engine? Only had the car 3 months and it is done. Found a leak in the antifreeze and engine doesn't have enough compression. I don't usually do reports like this but please be warned. We are sending our car back and moving on. This bucket of lemons isn't worth fixing and a waste of my money. If you can go research your car lot before you purchase, ask to take the car to auto zone for a diagnostic before purchase. Single mothers please get someone who knows cars to come with you if they are the only option for you. This is a rip off and the company has been doing it to several. So many I met while paying the car note have replaced their engines and what's worse if you ask to have a payment break to pay to get this Crap fixed they say they have to hold the car?! If you fixed these issues and gave is cars with minimal issues don't you know you will have less ripoff reports and less people complaining! Come on 3 months and the car is completely gone what a ripoff!
