Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
My husband and I purchased our 2000 Dodge Durango from their Garden Grove location in November 2005. The vehicle seemed okay but never really got great gas mileage. We figured of course, what do you expect from an eight cylinder SUV. However owning a black one in the past, it wasn't measuring up none the less. Approxiamately 500 miles prior to the 6 month, 6,000 mile running out, on about February 25th, we noticed the engine light on, the gas mileage problem to worsen to where we were only getting about 6 to 10 miles to the gallon, and the vehicle reaking of gasoline smell. Also the power steering was whining. We immediately took the vehicle into the drivetime service center, which unfortunately has only been the begginning.

My vehicle has been towed to their service center in Montclair 4 times now with each time us being told it's fixed, personaaly from Hernan, who is the service department manager. I have had Jeff Wyner, a manager in the company, as well as Rick McCaslin the General Manager in Montclair dealing with this situation so far to no resolve. The last time the vehicle was in Drivetime's possesion they took it to a Dodge dealership in Riverside for diagnostics, said it was not only the o2 sensors but the intake manifold needed replaced as well. They did the so called repairs and assured me "this time it's fixed!".

Well today not even 10 days later they authorized me to take it to my local Dodge at their expense after the engine light sure enough came back on a day or two after I got it back the last time(fourth and still counting.). There is a short list of problems with my vehicle all relating to the original problem.

1. left and right exhaust manifolds warped

2. catalytic converter out

3. high pressure power steering hose leaking

(wasn't I already told this was fixed 3 x's!!)

4.Rack and pinion mounting bushing- this is due to

power steering fluid leaking on it

5.transfer case adapter seals

I told higher ups today that I want them to authorize Dodge to do the repairs, and that I have no faith or trust in their "service department"(what a joke)and that they need to provide us with a rental car during the repair otherwise this will go to an attorney next. Enough said. Any Atttorney's ready for that class action lawsuit, who's with me and let's go!
