This venture was supposed to be an opportunity to invest in a successful business, and as it turned out to be, to this person and many others, it resulted in a nightmare which left them stripped of their savings, and got them dragged into a civil and penal lawsuit, that if successful, will give them back only part of their initial investment due to the legal costs, time gone by, and peso devaluation against dollar. None of which they can be held either accountable or responsible.

The Franchise Rights for Mexico are held by or at least is what we are led to believe- by Mr. Jose Shamosh Cattan.

He is not running his business as he should, it's all a sham, and his business scam will fall apart over time, we shall see to that. He has hurt many many people, these people are willing to fight back, and they want their money back. No more lies, no more threats, no more.

My client was lured by Mr. Shamosh into buying a DCU franchise. It seemed so perfect, and Shamosh such a nice guy, with such a trustworthy appearance. I mean, by his looks, who could tell he is running a scam??

A 100,000 dollar investment was suddenly adjusted by Mr. Shamosh to match exactly the 70,000 usdlls that my client had in hand. And the 30,000 missing?? Oh, never mind that, you can pay me on a monthly basis to help you get started. Just say yes, and you are on your way to a key in hand laundry. I will see to that.... Mr. Shamosh said.

So what happened, what REALLY happened is that once he had collected my client's money, no more Mr. Nice Guy. Suddenly she had to come forward with 30,000 usdlls more, according to contract and to get things worse, if she retracted from the franchise, she would not get a penny back. He made good on the threat. So far, she has not recovered a single penny from Mr. Shamosh. Oh, but you can ask him, he will account for every penny, he has prepared a lie for each and every one.

The hard fact remains true all the way; my client paid 70,000 usdlls to Mr. Shamosh and thought she was getting a Laundry. She got nothing. NOTHING in return for her 70,000 hard earned dollars.

As you may already know, The Bernie Madoff fraud, along with the Stanford case and others, has brought a lot of attention to such cases and white collar crimes such as this one. This particular case has attracted the attention of the media, especially Mexican Television Networks which carry specialized programs to help people keep away from apparent business opportunities that are in fact scams. We have been asked by one such program about this case, and we are seriously considering disclosing the full details to the media. Let there be no mistake about it, we will take appropriate action if it helps our client. We hope the attention will help put things on perspective to Mr. Shamosh and his Dry Clean Usa Business Franchise. Let nobody say he wasn't warned.

Dry Clean USA at first seemed Ok, looked Ok, and it certainly felt Ok at the time, however, we cannot help to wonder if this business is really about dry cleaning or about cunning investors into a mayor business fraud; based on the experience of many people in Mexico, attracted to the brand, in an apparent business opportunity that turned out very very wrong.
