We had a young guy come to our door on a Saturday afternoon. Thought he seemed very nice, was joking around with the kids and then he talked about his points that go to a trip and if I would buy just one magazine it would help him out. After everything was written up I realized the price of the magazines and just should have said no but I didn't. I walked down the street approx. 1/2 hour later to get the check back because now that I had time to think about the cost I just couldn't afford to make that kind of purchase for magazines. He said that he had already passed it off to his team leader and that I would have to follow the instructions on the order form, which I did mail it back within the 3 business days, got the signed certified receipt back but have not seen the money. It has been way past the 10 days and I have emailed the company at least 4 times with no response. I just don't want anyone else to have to go thru this for something so dumb as magazines.
