Tarak Patel doesn't get it. It's not that we don't understand his contract. It's that he offered false promises outside of this contract. On top of that, he is rude, not compassionate and I would never what to do business with him ever again.

After the tragic situation which lead to me postponing my wedding, Tarak Patel said he would let my $1500 deposit go towards my new wedding date. It was when I gave him the new date that he told me only a fraction of my deposit can be used since he had incurred "business loss."

What he doesn't understand, is it's not about the money. Even a large corporation as the Marriot was sympathetic enough to give us a full refund on our wedding hall since the wedding could no longer take place in Northern California due to my father-in-law's debilitating stroke. In spite of what it said on their contract, they were kind to my father, my family. They, and each of my other vendors had extreme compassion.

Compassion is a trait you would hope your wedding decorator would possess. They are, after-all, in the business of love, marriage, unity, happiness. It would help that your vendor show these qualities to reflect what kind of job he will do.

Business Basics: Never make your customer unhappy! They have the power to ruin your reputation forever. You will never have a good business if your customers are unhappy!

Also brides, you can get beautiful decorations for a lot less than what he's asking. Don't fall into the trap. Consider the vendor's personality before signing up with them.

As far as my $1500, that will slip out of your greedy hands just as easily as it came into them. That's a guarantee.

Client decided to move wedding 500 miles away!

Client failed to mention in her posting that the wedding was in San Ramon California then moved to Southern California. She wanted me to drive 500 miles and stay within the same contractual amount without accounting for business loss or even my travel. Is gas free? Is a hotel room free? The bride who posted this complaint surely certainly displayed her vindictive nature and her inability to deal with problems that can occur in a person's life. I suggest she seek counseling or a medical evaluation to test her cortisol and DHEA levels. www.indianmandap.com Tele: 813-774-9494
