Found greese on fab. seats. I tried to cover up with my towel, tried to charge me for recalls on a oxygen sensor that was replaced 8-9-02 they said was bad again but wanted me to pay for it this time $312.00 service department sucks! This is a rip-off business. This car has been nothing but a pain in the rear from the get go. The engine check light comes on every three months.

This Hyundai Sonata v-6 2000 2.5 engine. has been the worst car I have ever bought. The engine check light has came on about every 3 months. For this car that has suppose to have such a great warranty, I would like to know what is covered? I have payed $812.00 for service that they tell you has to be done at 60,000 then both rear wheel bearings went out, another $500.00. Then it started missing another $300.00. Oil leak on the oil filter that has been leaking since bought new. They excused it as the filter not beening tighten enough(not the case)every oil filter leaks-the surface of the motor was not machine right from the factory-that is where the oil comes from-filter cannot seat right because of surface machine wrong.

This car has cost me money everytime it has saw a dealer-no matter what the problems are, it is not covered under the warranty. That warranty-which is a sales rip-off- is not worth the paper it is printed on. The lied at the horse power from the beginning-it is not 170hp-it is 167hp that every body like me got ripped-off. We paid for that horse-power we didn't get, they are sending out extended warranties, that isn't worth anything, because they won't even stand behind the 100,000 that is suppose to be there in the first place. Voss Hyundai-In Dayton Ohio (service is the same SUCKS!) No warranty on nothing! This is a BULL #$%^ WARRANTY!

There are several things you can do to see if the factory will assist you. 1. send of copy all repair orders to Hyundai ask them to verify they're litgit... if they're not ask for a refund on the ones that are not. 2. request the dealership have the zone service rep look at your vehicle s/he will decide if you really have a problem. 3. if you purchased your vehicle new send in the arbitration card the factory will contact with a arbitration date to settle your claims. 4. go to a different Hyundai dealership for repairs.
