Dynamax, Jim Cawley ripoff and liar, don't let this guy charm you, he's out for himself only Buda Austin Texas
Don't trust this guy; don't deal with him on any level, he will not keep his word and he will take your money anytime he has a chance
I bought some of these medicine balls from this guy because he has a good reputation, the product he sells is pretty much handmade, and unless he knows you or has any reason to make sure he gives you the best of what he makes he'll give you whatever he has laying around his shop and charge you top dollar.
The medicine balls I bought broke apart the first time I used them, they were stuffed with old rags and paper towels; when I sent back the ball to have it replaced he refused to return the ball repaired or otherwise!!!
I went out to his 'factory' out in Buda while I was visiting Austin and found out that he also has a bad reputation with tenants he rents to, he evidently takes their money then kicks them out, he refuses to fix anything on the property he rents and always threatens to evict. Both times I went out the home shop advertised on his website I found two different tenants in the process of moving out, both told the same story, of how he refused to fix anything and how he took their money then kicked them out. He seems to never be there it's just a place that he can use as an address for his medicine ball scam. If you go out to his 'Dynamax Corporate Office' you won't ever find him, you'll only find unhappy tenants complaining about being ripped off and unfairly evicted; nice to see he's also a slum lord. Somehow it doesn't surprise me.
I wouldn't deal with this person or this business on ANY level, he obviously has no sense of right or wrong and will only give you a fair deal if it somehow benefits him, otherwise he will look for every opportunity to rip you off. Don't trust him!!!
He comes off as a real down to earth friendly guy, but he's a rip off artist who will take advantage of anyone he can. His product is shoddy unless he's making one for somebody who can give him a good reputation, if you're just a consumer without a big 'name' he won't care about you at all, he'll just take your money. Be warned!!! He's a thief and a liar!!!

As a person who lived out in Buda on the property in question I feel qualified to make a couple of comments concerning this post; one is that there is not now or was there ever more than one partial unit for rent out in Buda, so to say that the company owner is a slum lord is a bit of an exaggeration. Your description of the place makes your claim sound less than credible, there was never at any time any group of tenants; only one tenant at a time at any given time, periods of time without any tenant at all. I have no idea who you 'spoke' to when you went out there but it wasn't me. IF this was posted in retaliation because of anything the owner did, it's not fair, Dynamax is a good company with a good product. If you have a problem with the owner talk to ANYONE else out there, you will get treated fairly.
