Dynamic Roofing agent, Dave Bethers, completed a contract to replace my roof which was severly damaged due to golf ball size hail. I signed the contract for an amount and fully expected the work to be completed. One month later in an e-mail from Mr. Bethers he stated "Let this e-mail be a clear statement of our intentions to withdraw from the project at this time".  Dynamic Roofing then attempted to raise the price for the repairs.  It went from $5,455.56 to an amount of $8,124.51 for the same repair work to be completed.  It is not legal for Dynamic Roofing to cancel a contract and then come back and raise the price.  This constitutes illegal practices on their part as a contract is legal and binding.  I believe Dynamic Roofing practices are unethical.

Completely false report produced!!!

#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

Mon, November 12, 2012

It was brought to my attention that Char Mueller has posted a complaint therefore it is my obligation to set the facts straight.

First, Mrs. Mueller didn't report the correct company.  Our company name is Dynamic Roofing NOT Dynamic Roofing and Construction.  We are licensed with the state of South Dakota as Dynamic Roofing, not to be confused with Dynamic Roofing and Construction or any other Dynamic Roofing restoration or exterior companies in South Dakota or other states.  Our name is clearly posted on our contract.

Second, Mrs Mueller has been very dishonest in her report.  The contact was officially canceled within 3 days of when she signed the agreement, not 1 month later.  I have the e-mails to prove that.  Not only was Dynamic Roofing well within the 72 hour legal time frame, but Dynamic Roofing also received a response back from Mrs. Mueller (within 72 hours) as proof that she received the notification for cancelling the agreement.

Third, As the contract states.  "This agreement is for full scope insurance proceeds and does not obligate the property owner or Dynamic UNLESS repairs are approved by the insurance company."  Mrs. Mueller, unfortunately for you and for us, your insurance company would not agree to the repairs that you requested.   Therefore, Dynamic roofing did the honorable thing and let you out of a contract (with written notice within 72 hours) instead of holding you to an agreement and replacing your roof per the insurance scope of repairs (insurance loss sheet).  What your insurance company was paying for and what you wanted were 2 completely different roof systems and Dynamic Roofing was only obligated to install what was on the insurance loss sheet as per the contract.

I am happy to share Mrs. Mueller and Dynamic's emails within 72 hours of the contract signing as proof to anyone who doubts the facts.
