In September of last year, I sold a camera, the highest bidder paid $550 plus shipping. I checked to make sure the money was in my pay pal account, it was, so I shipped the camera. The next day, I checked my pay pal account only to find out all the money I had in there was gone, I then checked my bank account, the buyer hacked into my ebay account, and emptied every penny I had, It was two days before my wedding...Neither Ebay nor Pay pal would help me, infact, I still have never gotten the money that was in my pay pal account, they still say I owe them money for selling the camera, which I won't pay because I haven't seen my money. I have never shopped or sold on ebay again. Good Luck to you

Honestly, all Ebay cares about is getting their hands on people's money. If they help you resolve your issue, then they are out the final value fee they charged the seller. They do nothing to fix technical issues and do not reprimand those guilty of policy violations. They just let them continue to rip people off and send them degrading emails using the Ebay mail system. They use online help chat to attempt to harass members into paying up their current unbilled fees before they'll agree to fix anything. You won't get any help from Ebay...or from Paypal...they own it. Call a lawyer!
