I saw a one page add on "small opportunity magazine" about owning an online superstore. On their website www.ecxstores.com they say that you can make money from day one. They say also that with the program they include marketing programs and free consultation. This consultation is just sales pitch to get you to buy more products from them. When you call them they tell you that you can pay $2000 up front or you can pay $200 now and $99 for 36 months. Before I signed up this guy Jason would call me every hour just about, telling me that within a few days i could be making $600/day. After i signed up, he stopped calling me and also stopped answering my emails. They give you 3 days to get out of the contract. Meanwhile they tell you that is going to take four days to build your website. So by the time your website is built and they tell you, you have to pay over $1000 for marketing its too late to get our of the contract. When I finally got a hold of him, I asked him how he would start marketing my site, he told me that I would have to sign up for an over $1000 marketing program. Needless to say the marketing of the site is the expensive part. I dont want to sign up for the marketing program, since i feel i have been told lies time and time again by this company.

I read both reports on this company. I am still a little gun shy so to say after the expensive Internet Speedway ride I was taken on. If this is going good for you guys or gets better please update this site. I will be watching because this sounds interesting. Like with any business you have to work at it. The more you put in to it the more it grows. Will mistakes be made? You bet there will be. Can you recover from the mistakes? yes you can.

I signed up about 3 months ago for the same program. I have done reasonably well, having made around $5,000 so far. That is less than the $3,000 - $5,000 I was told on the phone, by my salesman Bruce (though he hated the term salesman). But, it certainly hasnt been a loss either. In regards to this guys post, I dont know who Jason is, but I deal with Bruce. After my initial discussion with him, he did call me a few times, usually to see if I had any questions, though of course he was probably looking to sign me up. But he didnt call me every hour and I dont feel he was harassing in any way. I financed the business as well but was aware of the upgrades that are offered. I took one of them for $395 and it gave me the ability to write coupon codes and have affiliate program software, and some other things. I forget what I paid for and what was included. I have found the website, for the most part, easy to use....but not perfect. Some things are confusing in regards to changing around the website and adding products, but it can be done. I was never asked to spend $1000 dollars after I got started for their marketing program. I think the highest priced package was $500. I got one for $200 and it has worked good. I got it after one month and Bruce told me I should get it to get more traffic. I thought it was another way to get more money out of me, but it definitely works. And again, I was told about this from the beginning. I wish my sales were bigger, but overall compared to a few other things I have done, this website blows them all away. I am am averaging a little over $1500 a month in profit. It is less than what Bruce said, but it is still substantial enough to say that the business works if you do work it. For someone who wants to make a little extra money every month, I would recommend this business. If you do, ask for Bruce, he is a really nice guy.
