E M Business Connections has scammed me out of nearly $25,000 dollars. First, it was for $695 to become a merchant agent. The next day, I called back and wanted out. I had second thoughts but Bill Isska (Developing Manager of E M Business Connections, helpers were Brittany and Courtney) talked me out of cancelling the deal. He assured me that they were a legitimate business.
Then I paid an additional $5,000 for business leads to get my business started from Digital Blog World. This was for a Web Site, a SEO Package, and 550 leads, which they sent me a disc of names, no addresses or phone numbers. I never got the SEO package or a custom website.
I was told to call Anita(at Digital Blog) every two weeks for a status update. She would return my calls saying I have X amount of numbers under my agent ID in the processing stage. Then Dave Marsh took over, I never was able to contact Dave Marsh, but he would return my calls, with a story that X amount of leads were in the underwriting stage, and that the underwriters were slow, then two weeks later to get a story, that things were on hold by the clients, or clients have backed out, but I have 33 clients under me as of Jan. 2014 , Now when I call I just busy signal and it doesn’t matter what time a day I call, so I try other numbers and one you can leave a voice mail, and it have been 3 weeks and no calls returned as of this date Feb 2014.
While this was going on I was contacted by Racheal Levine (885-497-8266) for the Business Development, Amerifi Ltd who talked about building corporate credit with Dunn & Bradstreet and Equifax. Then paid to have taxes done, A new LLC, and SEO. To the Total sum of $12,000 dollars.(and this was a reduced price from 17,000 dollars) I tried to call Rachael then found out she was no longer at the number she had and I was to direct my calls to a girl named Que, and she isn’t returning my calls. And it is now time to do the taxes.
I have created my own sites and listed ads in the classifieds, and even had business cards made, for something I believed to be real, and now I’m out of money and laid off from work and still have to pay the monthly min balance on my credit cards, with no money coming in. E M Business Connections has lead down a path a financial ruin.
I have contacted the BBB, they redirected me to the Fed. Trade Commissions, who was of no help, except go get a lawyer. Well next step is the FBI and we’ll see how that goes, I know that they only help people who were scammed out of hundreds of thousands.
If anyone can shed any light on this matter to help me out would be great.
