E-Z Auto Sale Modesto California I bought a car that was unsafe and broke after 24hrs. of buying it Ripoff Modesto California
I bought a car from E-Z Auto Sale at 1915 Yosemite Blvd, Modesto California. I bought the car on 06/15/05 and there was already a lot of stuff missing that they promised to get and have put on by Tuesday 06/21/05.
Parts include shift knob, ashtray, emblems ect. As I was driving home I noticed that the front wiper didn't work and the dash/gauge light not working. "Oh well" I said I'll take care of that. The next day I drove the car to work and home and to get something to eat. As I was going to get something to eat the passenger front tire made a loud sound. I was wondering what that was and started to pull over. I thought it was a flat tire. Well it was a lot worse then that. My tire was tilted to the side and if I turned the wheel it looked like it was going to fall off. I called E-Z Auto Sale and made them come tow it to there shop. Remember this has only been 24hrs. Since I've bought the car. So I am beyond mad!!
The next morning I called my Finance company and they said there not going to finance the car because it's not worth that value. I had my insurance cancelled with no problems because it's has been less then 48hrs. Then I call E-Z Auto Sale. Nina who sold me the car said they fixed it and I can come pick it up. I told Nina that I talked to my finance company and will not finance it now and that I won't out of this deal. She got really upset and said you can't do that because you bought the car as-is, and there is no cooling down period. I said I understand but I'm not cooling down, the car broke down and I told my finance company about it and now they won't take the risk to finance it. She said it wasn't a big problem "it's just the axel" Now I'm no mechanic but that sounds like a big problem and only owning it for 24hrs. I just don't feel safe with that car I told her. She told me she is going to bill me for the car and I will not get my deposit back. So I'm wondering what I can do to get what's mine or if anyone can help me? Also I want to let any future buyer know what kind of people they are at E-Z Auto Sale
