Gave Earnhart Ford a three hundred dollar deposit to hold a truck for 72 hrs, decided not to buy, ugly and overpriced, to much for my budget. They will not refund my deposit, have called seven times, no response. The manager will not answer the phone, only can leave voice mail. I actually saw this practice when I was their, they will let their phone ring, while it is in their hand, then immediatly check the voice mail when ring stops. They also took my drivers liscense to make a copy for test drive, and would not return it. It took several hours and finally with demand and ask for a police report to get it back. I have since learned this is a comon practice of Earnhart Ford.

Well Josey honey, when someone posts something on a public forum, they can and probably will, get all kinds of comments, even your silly useless rebuttals.

That's the way it works.  The only real way to not get unsolicited, unwanted comments is to not post at all.

I find your completely off topic comments to be humorous and a waste of bandwidth but keep it up, I love it. You are not unique, it's been done before.

Contact your Attorney General immediately and send him a copy of your Ripoff Report. You can 'Google' this- ARIZONA ATTORNEY GENERAL, and the information is available on the web.

You can also contact all of your Local TV News Stations in your city and send each one of them a copy of your Ripoff Report.

You can also contact Earnhardt Management Company and send them a copy of your Ripoff Report. Simply 'Google' this- EARNHARDT MANAGEMENT COMPANY, and go to the related sites in order to get their address.

Finally, make sure to spread your Ripoff Report all over the worldwide web at sites like Twitter and Facebook so others are aware of what happened to you.

Good luck!

To get this timeline correct.

You went to the dealer to do a test drive.  To do the test drive they required a copy of your Drivers License yet they wouldn't give it back for several hours.  Until you asked for a Police Report(?).

So did you give them the $300 deposit before or after they held your license for hours?

Did you give them this $300 deposit before or after you saw them letting the phone ring and then immediately checking their voice mail?

Also, what did the receipt you got when you gave them the $300 say about it being refundable?
