Hey Ronny, I don't know why you're talking about post offices. It's pretty clear by the tracking number that UPS was used. If the package requires a signature, UPS will attempt 3 deliveries, then it goes back to the sender.

..it does seem the buyer won the dispute.
I do not understand how the buyer won the dispute after leaving positive feedback unless you agreed to the refund. If so, all the buyer has to show is the tracking number as proof it was sent back and they issue the refund.
If you were not home to receive the item it should have been left at the Post Office and a note on your door or mailbox would tell you when and where to pick up the item. Might have considered insurance as well, it is not that much more.
This whole mess is highly unusual and still not adding up.
Why would they return the item to the buyer just because you were not home? If they did for some odd reason return the item to the buyer and you have proof via tracking info perhaps payPal will assist. But it seems to me they just did as they always would do when you lose a dispute. Did you contact the PO or whomever the delivery service is and ask why they returned the item to the buyer?

I sold item on 9/22/10, shipped on 9/23/10and was delivered on 9/25/10, on 9/26/10 the lady left positive feed back , also go emails thanking me for such a great deal. On 9//23/10 she email me about where to find KVS to play a modded XBOX and stated it was her first one , on 9/26/10 got another email she stated she was sick that she just lost her job and that she did not know why she bought this because she s cash straped because she just got laid off and did not know where her money was going to come from for the next couple weeks or months.then on 10/11 at 10am, she open a case with ebay, stated item was not as described that it did not work.I responded 2 times and at 654pm she esclated the claim the same day. she profided tracking for the return but no one was her 3 different times to receive item, so it got sent back to her , and I get a email that ebay has refunded her $295 and they can see by the tracking number its been returned to her but there email stats i received it and I did not, now she has the xbox and her money and im out of both.so I appealed it no word as of now.

Granted, Ebay and PayPal do often side with the buyers in the event of a legitimate dispute....but it is not a crap shoot or random decision, they do investigate every claim.
I have never heard of them reversing a charge after the buyer leaves a positive feedback. I have been buying and selling on eBay for 10 years and always use PayPal with no problems.
Can you post any documentation such as emails or screen shots of online help to provide any evidence?
I guess I am saying I do not believe this claim or at the very least some important information is being left out.
