Hi... I was reading a few of these reports, and noticed you were robbed from some crook. First of all, I just want to say that ebay and a few of its users are truly evil- as I have been ripped off on 7 different occasions. Although you may feel like you can't do anything- you can. If you know the person's address including the city they live in, Contact their local police department ( In one transaction I was involved in for a ps2 game system i paid for and did not recieve, the police helped resolve it-QUICK). Also, you can contact the fbi or the fcc- as that is against the law, and the person will most likely go to jail if they don't pay you all of your money back. Also, I dont know if this will help or not , but If any exchange was used thru usps or any other postal carrier- contact a postal inspector- as that is mail fraud. I really hope what I just said will help you.

Ebay makes it's money on COMPLETED auctions. You can leave feedback on COMPLETED auctions. Ebay also makes it very clear that they are not responsible when YOU decide to deal directly with the auctioneer. Did you check the guys feedback BEFORE you bid or BEFORE you sent him $950.00. The USPS BS from the seller was obviously just a diversion to get past the 30 PAyPal limit. Did you REALLY believe that it would take 8 weeks for the USPS to deliver a package? I guess you must mail your bills months in advance. This guy scammed you by playing on greed (very common scam tactic). You should have realized the deal was too good too be true. Both ebay and PayPal go out of their way to warn people like you about sellers like you met. If you don't read and understand their policies before sending out $950.00, I'm sorry I don't have much sympathy for you. Ebay and PayPal both work fine but don't expect them to cover your lack of due diligence.
