On October 27, 2004 I won an Ebay auction of an Acura Type R complete engine swap. everithing looks fine beacuse the seller has a 100% positive feedback, has a Paypal verified account so this tells to me that will be a safe transaction. I pay $3,815.00 for the engine and the shipping was going to pay at the port when the engine arrives.

Well the days passed and when I call the seller for the shipping company information is when comes my suspects. When I note that the things are wrong I tried to recover my money back and I did a complaint thru Paypal. Paypal is an Ebay company and they told me that they will make a decision in ten days. I did the complaint on November 12,2004 so I have to wait up to November 22,2004 for their response. What do you guess? Their response was that they can not contact to the seller and can do nothing! I said waoooo! Well I tried contact Ebay as well and anybody answer my emails and looks that they won in this transaction too.

From October 27,2004 to November 27,2004 I tried to contact the seller more than 100 times by phone and by email more than 50 times. I also filled tha Square trade form that Ebay provides for fraud investigations and also filled a FBI form for this purposes.

The name of the guy is Arthur Scott and he lives in Tampa Florida. If somebody know this guy if he really exists plaease email me, he was a dealer broker or something like that and the location is supose to be at Kiseeme, in Orlando Florida. If I recieve any information where he is I'll love to travel to see him in person. His company name or Ebay seller name was inandout345.

The Ebay/Paypal company just said that if somebody is agree with their policies the persons are agree to lost money too.

This is the real Ebay/Paypal policy.

Can you afford a $4,000 loss like this man?

If you can, just keep buying on the internet! It's just a matter of time before you get cheated. And, you won't have to wait long, either. Anybody can make a phony web site. You can register it in a fake name and address. Crooks have learned this years ago. When you send money to someone on the internet, you have no idea where it's going, or who is getting it. There is absolutely nothing to stop them from cheating you. Internet auctions are the biggest frauds out there. Always were, always will be. But, fools continue to flock to these auctions because they actually think they're going to get some great deal. Well, look at this man above. He got a great deal, didn't he? Think long and hard before you ever send one dime to anyone you meet on the internet. Don't end up like this person. It may be too late for him. But, you still have a chance. Make the smart choice. Don't fall for internet con games.
