EBAY Fall savings 10% coupon code sent to my ebay and paypal says code is not for me! Internet
Ebay sent me a fall savings 10% coupon directly to my ebay account on 10/28/08 in the morning. When I went to use it, ebay accepted it and deducted 10% from my auction. I proceeded to pay thru paypal and paypal said the coupon was not for me! Paypal refused to allow me to use the coupon that ebay sent to me. The person from ebay customer service said they inadvertently sent coupons out to people that did not qualify for the 10% but she cound not determine if I was one of those people and I must check with paypal. Paypal said they didn't believe me when I said I received the coupon, but had no way to check with ebay to confirm if I was qualified to get the 10%. I posted this problem on ebays checkout discussion board and was banned from the discussion board for a week!

Update on 10% Ebay coupon I received that was "not for me"

Attention All 10% coupon recipients! I received the coupon "in error- ebays story" and was sent round and round from ebay to paypal and back to ebay with no luck and was even banned from ebays discussion board for a week because of my posting(I guess they thought I was a bad influence because my posting hurt their feelings)but fair is fair- after multiple contacts with Paypal- they finally did the right thing- they honored their coupon and credited my account! Moral of the story- be polite and honest and if you take the time and be cool headed Paypal does have some fair and honest people working for them. If you email them enought times, sooner or later you will get one of them! Thank you Paypal! They finally did the right thing!
