Dish threatened my wife with disconnection if we did not submit to a telephone audit of all of our receivers. Before the end of the deadline, receivers were turned off. We participated in the audit and were told the units would be activated in 10 minutes. 90 minutes later there was no service. A call to the audit department resulted in a recorded message informing me that it was after business hours. Calling back 10 hours later, the units were activated, but without all channels. After having to call technical support, the problem was corrected.

Summary. Audit department is rude and abusive and lied as to when service would be connected. Customer service department was powerless to correct the situation. All of these problems were brought upon a 10 year customer, with an excellent payment history. Please head my warning.

Do not subscribe to Echostar (Dish Network). Even though I have paid for their service, they denied access. They do not care about the consumer and will terminate service, at their whim and reconnect when they feel like it.
