I wished I had read these about econo. I took my 2000 olds in because it was overheating. I took in at 8am and went to the walmart to the bank. Got a phone call from the assistant manager and was told it was the radiator. I said fine replaced it. it cost me 578.00 and i was told it will be about 2 hours. I went back to econo and 2 hours went by, then 3 and 4 and finally about 3pm i get my car back. drove off and turn it around ten minutes later due to the same problem, overheating. Now they are saying they need more time on it. gave me a van to drive which was not registered and had to use a screw driver to start. They wanted to keep it overnight by this time and told me now it was the thermostat and was going to cost another 75.00 and it will be ready in 1 hour. They open at 9am and my car was going to fixed first. bull. I waited all day and still not fixed. Still overheating and they could not figure out the problem. Now wanted to keep it for the weekend. The only car we have. husband had to work. no way. I called my brother and he came down and told do not fix anything else. we are going to trade it in and get me another car. not worth fixing. they tried to talk him out of taking the car. he too is a mechanic and the reason I did not go to my brother to fix it he does repairs out of his garage and also he lives a little farther away from me and my car would not make it. I am requesting my money and they never responde to my letter, so I call the automotive beaure of repairs and now going thur a investigation;...
