Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Ecoquest has to be one of the worst pyramid schemes ever. Their objective is to get as many suckers to buy 'success packs' as possible and then give you limited to no technical support.

It starts out when one of your 'friends' tells you that you can make a bundle from selling thses 'fresh air' products. They don't bother telling you that the Ozone that the product creates kills your indoor plants, gives you terrible headaches and stinks like crazy. They are trained to provide a myriad of excuses for why these things are happening, but have no clue themselves. These 'Sales Managers' generally have no experience in sales or management, they are like the CEO of Ecoquest, a Shaklee salesman on steroids. They have no concept of channel conflict or channel stuffing (common marketing terms that I'm sure they have never heard). There are 12 people within one mile of me who are trying to sell the Fresh Air putrifier!

I believe there are significant health hazards related to the Fresh Air Putrifier and before long, these totally untrained 'sales people' will find out that they will have a tremendous number of law suits against them because of the damages being caused by the Ozone and other particulate that is being generated in people's homes.

The worst part of this whole hoax is that they are doing this with a 'Christian' overtone. What an abomination! The Sales Managers are charging people $699 for this product and only paying around $400 themselves. That's a 75% markup for the Sales Manager, as well as an additional standard 30-40% markup that Ecoquest is making. They are thoroughly RIPPING OFF the people who buy these putrifiers!

Once they sucker you into buying the 'success pack', they end up sending you products that are different than what you were told, they send you sales material that is outdated and inaccurate (old products, VHS videos instead of current DVD, etc). Then they want you to go on 'automatic shipments' so you can stack more and more of these in your garage. I have talked to at least a dozen people who have these putrifiers stacked up and can't sell them.

I could go on and on, but it won't do any good. This pyramid scheme will continue as long as people don't mind ruining friendships and close relationships but ripping their 'close friends' off. Go ahead, you Sales Managers, get your car allowance at the expense of your unsuspecting former friends. Go ahead Mr CEO, show them the massive house that poor unwary people provided for you. You will get your just reward.

STAY AWAY FROM ECOQUEST!

I was with this dive for almost a year, and we're talking almost 10 years ago. Long story short you buy the air purifiers, 10 of them for $350 each, then you have to go out and sell them for $450 each. There may be people in the company making good retirement income, but as far as I can decipher they're either 1) at the very top of the pyramid, or 2) smooth talking con artists. If you are looking to quickly wipe out a life savings and should you only be so lucky file bankruptcy years later because other ventures you've tried in the past hasn't worked out - this is the company for you.

He's the juice, sure their purifiers may seem great and wonderful on the outside. The part for you to think about is if they're so great and wonderful, why would they sell them to you for only $450 when you can buy one at Home Depot for only $50. I won't even go into detail about the misleading claims and wonders they falsely state the unit can do (remove dust and mildew for instance). I know this is untruthful for fact as I had one of their merchants admit to me those claims were false when I tried putting one up on eBay - which they will not allow. Moreover once you purchase those units and go out to sell them Ecoquest as the company assumes NO RESPONSIBILITY over it all. If anything happens to the units, you are held responsible. If the unit or pieces of it sustain damage during shipping - YOU have to pay for the cost of having them replaced. If you sell a unit to a buyer who is unsatisfied and they return it, who has to refund them? You do! THIS IS BLATANT CRIMINAL!

I have Legal Assistance on my side, and you may rest assured Ecoquest will be under very close observation from the Better Business Bureau and my State Attorney General. It is normally not in my character to go back and bad mouth an experience that occurred 10 years ago, but to any curious reader I would like the FACTS of the matter to be known. STAY AWAY FROM ECOQUEST! THESE CROOKS WILL SUCK THE LIFEBLOOD OUT OF YOU AND FAST!

As for myself, I have a good venture going on the side which I know will pan out for me financially in an immense fashion. I'm sorry to tell you this Ecoquest, but your mission of conquest to bankrupt me has miserably failed! SEE YOU IN HELL!

The company may be shady but the product is good and works

We use these in the automotive industry to resolve nasty mold mildew and musk issues in cars that have taken on water on the interior. When the inside of a car gets soaked from a water leak, the carpets and padding begin to mold and exhibit a very nasty odor. These machines work very well to remove the mold and smell... works every time very effectively.

We rent them with good results.

We rent the "Ozone Blaster" with very good results. We bought ours from one of our salesmen. We tell people to leave the house and not to have pets inside. It really works. Limo drivers rent it, fire victims rent it, I even used it in my car when I had hauled mulch and it was horrible smelling. On high within one hour the odors were gone. I don't know anything else about the company, etc. I just know the ozone blaster works.

Actually, Mike Jackson worked for Alpine, created Ecoquest and boght Alpine. Also , notice that Ecoquest doesn't have a federal gag order? Bill Converse the creator of Alpine was claiming that the alpine units cured diseases, which it doesn't. However bad indoor air quality has been proven to cause illnesses and since Ecoquest has been proven to be the most effective air technology in the world, solving the air problem has helped people with health issues. Some ozone generators are harmful but Ecoquest products are EPA registered and stay far withing the guidlines of safe ozone levels when used as directed. Plus might I add the chemicals off-gased from your cabinets and carpet are far more deadly than ozone. By the way, too much water can kill you should we say bad things about water? Fire kills but I don't see you taking out your furnace. Ecoquest technology is advanced photo catalytic oxidation along with a low level ozone...the ozone is the smallest part of the new technology and the Pentagon and NASA use it and it was good enough for the next gen house in fl. You would know that if you really researched. Yopu just found what you wanted and posted accurate info out of context to make a point that isn't true! Actually, I didn't buy a success pack at first i just signed up, sold three units just on what I learned about the technology, then financed a success pack. The technology is so amazing, it only stands to be logical that if you have them they are easier to sell. It isn't a scheme at all. My mgr drives a volvo suv that is his bonus car and he helps me a lot to build my business. Sure it is mlm but so is kirby and everyone knows they are the best too. Guess that is why success from home mag featured Ecoquest oct 06 and is doing it again jan 07 and healthier You mag featured us in oct too. Bits and Pieces mag rated ecoquest the best buisiness op in the world 2x

Plenty of people would buy a crap sandwtch if the sales pitch was good. Ecoquest has been sited for literary license in advertising or selling their products. As mentioned in earlier posts, that doesn't seem christian like, which I don't care about but others do and it appears the Federal Trade Commissions agrees that it is disceptive. People purchased Yugos too and I think the majority agree that is a crap sandwich. Your unit puts out unsafe levels of Ozone and it seems as though Ecoquest recognises this by way phasing out the the straight ozone gerneration system and shifting to ionization. So perhaps with the change over they will go from selling the Yugo of air filtration systems to perhaps the Hyundai. The amount a consumer will pay for a crap sandwich does not make it worth that price. The amounts of money you mention certainly are not an incentive for me to sell any of the above mentioned products and it appears you may be living below the poverty level.

So EcoQuest is MLM, does that make the product bad or make the price too high? Go check the Internet, their are people that buy the EcoQuest Blaster from EcoQuest for under $300 and turn around and sell it for for over $1000. Must be a good product if they can sell it for that amount. My bonus check was over $400 last month. Plus I made $300 on each Fresh Air unit I sold. Does that sound like your typical MLM? Plus, we decide whether we participate in MLM or not. Each Fresh Air unit sale is not dependant on whether we recruit other dealers. Over 90% of the dealers in EcoQuest just retail units and make good profits. We honestly help people make an extra $250-$500 each month, or more, just retailing the products that help people live healthier lives.

Jay, Your evangelistic response to Joe is strikingly similar to all the other Multi Level Marketing zealots out there. Your explanation is not based upon facts. Research via the internet shows that the product, for what it is, is not a bad product. However there is no doubt that Ecoquest is an MLM. That in itself is not a bad word but unfortunately you will find that the only money to be made is by the members at the top of the pyramid. About 2% of the MLM devotees make money. Look up Amway. The distinction between Ecoquest and other MLM is that they are actually selling a product that was created by their predecessor Alpine. Further research will show that the Federal Trade Commission successfully sued Alpine and Ecoquest for unsubstantiated health benefit claims and were ordered to cease and desist, which it appears they have not. You will also see cease and desist letters going to Ecoquest regarding their Wind Tree product. Way too many MLM sell water purification systems, supplements and beauty products with too many unsubstantiated benefit claims. It seems clear here, just like other MLM, the real money is in the pyramid. So as to your claims, I have been in 12 houses and have never seen the product

I have been an EcoQuest Dealer 4 years. I have not come close to realizing my goals, mainly because of my effort. Even if there were 12 dealers within a mile of my house, it doesn't add up with the numbers. About 1 out of ten people I approach have an EcoQuest product in their home. Many of those do not remember who they purchased from and I become their new dealer. They already are in love with the product, whick makes the next sale very easy. Joe, our product was developed in space,TO GROW PLANTS, not kill them. NASA loves this technology for growing plants and keeping the astronauts healthy. Joe, people said the same negative things about electricity, the automobile, etc. Try to be more positive about life. What part of business and making money dont you understand. You state the manager pays $400 for an air purifier and sells it for $699. Sounds like a fair profit for a product that helps millions breathe easier. Automatic shipments? Joe, EcoQuest discourages inventory loading, and will not ever be asked to automatically have air purifiers shipped to your home. Pure lies.
