Ecost.com ripoff Torrance California
Ecost.com does not stand behind the products the sell. I purchased a monitor from them and upon receipt discovered it to be defective. When I contacted Ecost they told me I had to deal direct with the manufacturer.
I had to pay to ship the monitor to the manufacturer who thankfully stood behind their product. But when I contacted Ecost to get reimbursed for the shipping cost, they told me they also don't pay for that. In short they want your money , but won't help you or pay for defective products they sell. BUYER BEWARE STEER CLEAR OF ECOST.COM !!!!!

Might not be fair or right, but the return policy on their website is VERY clear about returns on defective items. After you make the purchase, any problems must be resolved directly with the manufacturer. They're not responsible for the shipping. That's why their prices are so cheap, I guess.
