 This complaint is not made as an outlet to seek revenge or slander anyones character. This complaint is made to reveal the truth and warn other future employees or possible business partners.

The owners of the company Ezell Brown and Abiel Socorro are untrustworthy, con artists. They both have mastered the art of running unethical businesses and not paying their employees.

The Company "Education Online Services Corporation" formally known as "Marketlinx Direct" is a call center specializing in Education refferals.  During my time working with the company , i witnessed much unprofessional, unethical behavior. The company had a habit of distributing bad checks. During the duration of my employment with the company, i did not receive one check that ever cashed at a bank. i would always go to the bank having a feeling that their were no funds in the account and afterwards have to contact either abiel or ezell on the weekends to inform them that my check would not cash. My phone calls would always go ignored till i came to work that monday to always find that they were conviniently absent and unreachable for the next couple of days.

I was paid monthly, even though I requested to be paid bi-weekly. Every check I received was late, each later than the next.  I went over a month and a half without any payment. I was never told that my check would be late, the issue was not acknowledged unless I asked.  I would consistently have to call and text Abiel Soccorro about needing my paycheck for past due bills and to support my family and all of the calls and texts would go without response.

I am not the only person this has occured to . The office was always filled of past employees demanding payment after months of expecting a check . In august of 2013 the company had a massive layoff resulting in the job loss of over 30 employees. Abiel had fired the employees , informing them that their checks were going to be mailed in a week. After not receiving any checks , a group of 10 or more employees came to the office demanding payment and abiel distributed all their checks and openly told them that the checks will not cash due to lack of funds in the account. He instructed all employees to cash the checks at a check cashing location outside of broward county because their is no location that will cash the companies checks due to previous bounced checks.

All of the employees have families to support and were living paycheck to paycheck and were experiencing getting evicted or missing payments due to this company not paying their employees for over a month.

The owners have no remorse for the lives they have affected.

When you research both of the owners of the company , you will see that they have built quite the reputation, philanthropists, family men, posing in front of expensive cars. This is all FAKE ! The cars are rented, the checks are written with the intent to not be cashed, and these men have taken advantage of the less fortunate.

Their names have already been dragged through the mud due to their actions with other business owners, but i needed to reveal the ugly side of these men.

I am still awaiting payment of over $2000, and it has been 3 months since my departure. I have called consistanly and contacted the labor board and have had no luck.

Hopefully this will not happen to anyone else.

I was a manager for this company and have been paid everything that was outstanding to me.

i witnessed firsthand how two companies one of which sent all of its employees to eoserve than after a few months later did not pay over 60,000 that it owed thus forced the company to shut its call enter and then hired back some it's employees that enjoyed smoking weed and drinking during their break time at Orange Apple Media.

A second company which owes Eoserve over 240,000 is adnexus Media (aka global contact center) which on one payroll Friday deposited a cashier check for 35k and then went back 10 minutes later and withdrew the deposit causing our checks to bounce. The owner of this company Al Ahmed is notorious for ripping off companies he has worked for and vendors tht do work for him and hide under aliases and new companies he forms. 

Between the two companies ( Orange Apple Media - Darnell Aponte - $60k ) and ( Al Ahmed - ad nexus media, global contact - $240k) that companywas left with a $300,000 debt that it could not recover from and thus was forced to shut down its call center lead gen division. The company still operates it's enrollment business and has strong partnerships with universities.
